mahmoud ismail is a visual artist and musician based in berlin, born in syria and raised in saudi arabia. working under the alias al hut, his practice spans experimental ambient soundscapes, interactive video games, and collaborative installation spaces. outside of making, he acts as an organizer and curator, building digital art archives and running independent event series like noisexp.
